The focus ring is smooth, but the aperture ring is a bit stiff. The aperture functions properly, but there's some faint oil forming on the blades. The glass is clean and clear with no haze, marks, or fungus. There are a few faint specks of dust inside, but they do not affect image quality. The glass in the goggles is clean and clear.
